Fischer Lumber is looking for outside sales professionals to join our team. We have been providing the greater St. Louis area with residential, commercial, and industrial building materials for over 80 years. Fischer is a family-owned business with a record of success and longevity in a competitive industry.

Responsibilities

· Maintain exceptional level of professionalism

· Prepare estimates for residential and/or commercial projects

· Develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients

· Stay current on industry trends and developments

· Generate new business through prospecting and networking activities

· Must be hard working, competitive, highly motivated, and punctual

Skills

· 1+ years of experience in building material sales and/or construction background

· Ability to read and understand residential and/or commercial blueprints

· Knowledge of building codes and jobsite safety requirements

· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets & closing sales

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

· Must have a valid driver’s license
